New data shows Surgical Masks can help against Flu ! March 23 2016

How the perception of the effectiveness of wearing a surgical mask to protect yourself from contracting influenza and other infections diseases has changed over the last few years.

I have inserted two links from two different articles I found on the net. The first link is from Natural News posted in 2009. The second is from Healthline posted in 2015.

The first is a "myth buster" and raves on about how useless surgical masks are against the flu, where as the second one states quiet clearly that masks of any type do help in flu prevention.

Practising good hygiene, washing you hands frequently, and wearing a mask when you are around infected people, are your best prevention practices against contracting influenza.
